HAC on Plastics Treaty provisions to Reduce Plastic Production and Consumption

The High Ambition Coalition aims to end plastic pollution by 2040, but in order to do that, the world needs to reduce the production of primary plastic polymers, which in turn, requires international cooperation. This video outlines the main proposals for provisions to reduce plastic production made by the HAC Co-Chairs ahead of the second session of the ‘Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee to develop an international legally binding instrument to end plastic pollution, including in the marine environment’.

This video is the first in a series created by GRID-Arendal for the High Ambition Coalition to End Plastic Pollution.
